Hello Running Springs Families,
I can’t believe the school year is almost over. I know it is not the way we had hoped or wanted to end this school year. First off, I want to thank all the PTA volunteers and room parents for a wonderful job this year. It was cut short, but your dedication and support throughout the year is appreciated. We are very lucky to have such outstanding parents. Special thanks go out to the PTA executive board. I couldn’t have done it without you. It has been difficult these last few months but we made it through another successful year, thanks to you all.
To all the 6th grade parents, thank you for all the countless hours spent making copies, volunteering in the classrooms, helping at the numerous PTA events, the list goes on and on. The PTA will not be the same without you. I want to personally thank a few of these wonderful 6th grade parents who will be moving on from Running Springs with their child to middle school. I am sorry we were not able to send them off in our usual celebratory way. They have played an important role in shaping our Running Springs PTA and will be truly missed.
Kristin and Frank Dunn
Thank you for all that you have done.
To all of the promoting 6th graders: I hope you enjoyed the yard signs that Rudy delivered. We do have a few more surprises in store for you. You are the Running Springs Class of 2020. You will always be remembered as the class that was quarantined and you are the first class to have “virtually” promoted from elementary school. You are an amazing group of kids. You are strong! You are resilient! You are Redhawks! You will SOAR through middle school. Once a Redhawk, always a Redhawk! Go Redhawks!
We are not sure what is in store for us, but the PTA will continue to support our students, our school, our teachers and our community. We will keep you informed through our website and social media. Have a happy and safe summer. Hope to see you all next fall.
Patty Chau, PTA President
