Running Springs will celebrate Red Ribbon Week by promoting participation in fun daily activities. Please encourage your student to take part in these activities as a way to remind them they have the POWER to be drug free and are TOO SMART TO START!

Red Ribbon Week wristbands will be distributed to the students on Monday, 10/26, and your student can get discounts and free stuff for wearing their wristband! A list of business offering perks for students wearing their wristbands this month can be found here.

Here’s the list of activities for Red Ribbon Week 2020 (2021 coming soon):

Monday, October 26: “I mustache you not to do drugs!” RED wristbands & Mustaches given out at school today.

Tuesday, October 27: “Don’t be caught sleeping, say no to drugs!” Come to school in your pajamas!

Wednesday, October 28: “I’m Drug Free from my Head to my Toes!” Students wear CRAZY hair and socks.

Thursday, October 29: “I solemnly swear I will not do drugs.” Come dressed in your favorite Hogwarts house, or Harry potter character.

Friday, October 30: “Hocus pocus drugs aren’t our focus!” Come dressed in your Halloween costume! (OUSD dress code applies. Costumes should not promote violence, no blood, and costumes must allow student to be able to work comfortably.)

(No tank tops. No inappropriate length shorts. Appropriate school shoes are required and all other standard OUSD dress code rules still apply.)
